City Year Scholarship Benefits & Eligibility

Benefits

The Scholarship is good for two years of continuous enrollment, including Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

Funding is based on the number of credit hours you take each semester.

  • 6–9 credit hours a semester (about 2–3 classes) equals $750
  • 10+ credit hours a semester (4 or more classes) equals $1,500

Eligibility Requirements

  • Be a City Year Tulsa AmeriCorps member or an alumnus who has completed one year of service
  • Complete the FAFSA each year of enrollment
  • Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours each semester (about two classes)

Apply for TCC City Year Tulsa Alumni Scholarship

Follow these steps to apply for the TCC City Year Tulsa Alumni Scholarship.

Apply for Admission to TCC. (If you've attended TCC within the last year and know your TCC email address and student ID, proceed to Step 2 directly.)

Make sure to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Unweighted high school GPA, ACT, and SAT scores will be used to determine course placement and if additional placement testing is required.

As a City Year Tulsa Alum, Kelly Greeson is your dedicated TCC Admission Counselor. You must meet with her to finalize your scholarship funds.

Your final step is to attend a New Student Orientation session. You learn everything you need to know to succeed at TCC and get enrolled in your first semester of courses.
